Child Welfare:

 

We as a club are in full compliance with the requirements set out by our Governing Body – the FAI with regard to Child Welfare.

All coaches and parents involved on a regular basis will/have received Garda Clearance letters also all persons involved with our teams must complete a Code of Ethics course.  This course is not optional it is a requirement.

 

Our designated Child Welfare Officer – David Bryant 086-1053122 can be contacted by parents or the child themselves if there is a situation that requires attention.  This includes issues of bullying by player/s or by coaches, a situation that causes trauma or stress.  All issues will be dealt with in confidence. Please note we (Mucklagh Schoolboys/girls F.C.) do not provide personal accident Insurance, we are only required to have Public Liability Insurance.  Most schools do provide 24 hour Personal Accident Insurance and your child should be covered.

We do however cover the cost of A&E if your child receives an injury while training or playing for our Club.
